My opening scene will begin with my production company and then fade out into the beginning of the film. My opening scene will begin at a park where Elizabeth, the main character, is jogging. By the way she jogs and her facial expressions, the audience will able to tell that something is wrong with her and she is most likely not too happy about her life. Elizabeth will then sit down in a park bench to take a quick water break and then a women will sit next to her. Elizabeth becomes frightened due to the fact that she had recently escaped those who kidnapped her, she does not trust anyone that is near her. Elizabeth then gets up from the bench and quickly walks to her car as she realizes the women is now following her. Editing effects such as dissolving, fade in and fade out will be used throughout this scene. I will be using establishing shots, panning shots, zoom, over the shoulder shots, and mid shots throughout this scene as well.

Elizabeth will step in her car and drive home quickly in fear that someone is going to hurt her. Once Elizabeth's arrives home she will begin to search desperately for information on those who kidnapped her. I plan to take shots of Elizabeth searching on the internet and through drawers. The reason behind Elizabeth searching for information, is that she doesn't trust anyone and feels that anyone can betray her with any information they hold. This is why she will decide to become her own secret agent later on in the film.

After searching desperately for information on those who kidnapped her, Elizabeth will go to sleep. In this part of the opening scene I will use editing techniques to make sure the audience understands that she is having a difficult time sleeping due to flashbacks.

This scene will have a post modern twist because the two kidnappers will be women, and one will be of a very young age.

Elizabeth will wear a shirt that reads "Motivated" when she is jogging at the park. This shirt is very significant to the film because it helps the audience understand that something is wrong with Elizabeth and that is why she has to remind herself to have a positive attitude.

The two kidnappers will be dressed in black to represent evil in my film.
